Thousands of riders, volunteers, donors and cheerleaders came together July 17-19 in Cleveland to support one cause: the second-annual VeloSano Bike to Cure weekend. Latin for "swift cure," VeloSano is a major community fundraising initiative with 100 percent of dollars raised by VeloSano participants directly benefiting cancer research at Cleveland Clinic.

This year, more than 2,200 people participated as riders, virtual riders or volunteers, representing 28 states and the District of Columbia. By Friday night, nearly 12,000 people had made donations, representing 21 countries. Countless people came out to cheer on the riders, while countless others set up cheer stations on their front lawns.

The third-annual VeloSano is scheduled for July 29-31, 2016. Rider registration opens in January. Visit www.velosano.org to learn more.
