Cleveland Clinic hosted the 16th annual “An Evening with Scott Hamilton & Friends” ice show and gala in Cleveland, Ohio on November 7, to benefit cancer research, education and survivorship programs at Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute. More than 6,400 people attended the ice show, which featured Olympic and World skating champions performing to a live concert from the legendary rock bank Styx accompanied by Cleveland’s Contemporary Youth Orchestra. This year’s gala, chaired by Maria Miller, raised $1.2 million for these much-needed programs. Since its inception, the annual event has raised more than $16 million to fund these programs and 49 innovative cancer research projects.
